Robbie and Gaye Allen

Robbie started working on cars at a very young age, helping in shops around his home in Sedona doing whatever they had for him to do. He started his first real paying job in a body shop after moving to Phoenix in 1979. Robbie started ABC Body Shop in 1981 fixing cars and painting them in a small garage he and a neighbor built beside his home. It was only a few months before the work got to be too much for the side yard, he had to move to a shop in Old Town Cottonwood to continue. Thus ABC Body Shop was started.

Gaye worked as an accountant until the body shop grew too large for her to handle the shop's paperwork and work another job full time.  She quit her job in 1986 and has taken care of the books, taxes, payroll and other assorted paperwork since.  She also fills in at the office whenever someone is on vacation or we are short handed.

Gaye and Robbie have been married since 1980. They have two children, Jessica and Bob.
